The common house is a larger building built by the community to have meetings, communal dinners and celebrations. The village green is right outside, providing a gathering area for children, extra grazing area for some of the goats and general use.

When Bernerd arrived he had a hut built onto the side of the common house and moved in. From there he serves up his various brews and tells stories, running it a bit like a tavern, though no commerce is to be had in Soporus.
