Veru & Tola, the herbalists, are a friendly older couple who spend most of their days gardening and mixing herbs. These two are popular with the villagers not just for the tasty herbs they provide for the villagers’ meals, but also for their herbal cures. Before the Storm Children, Veru & Tola were the only members of the village that arrived together.

(Clarification: The refugees that arrived previously didn’t seem to be ‘together’ exactly. They were mostly strangers who were on the same ship and, particularly with the memory loss, didn’t seem to have any other common bond.)

These two can offer an apprenticeship in herbal remedies and medicine.
